Inspection Type Questions
New construction inspections focus on builder quality, new system functionality, and construction code compliance. Resale inspections evaluate overall home condition and age-related wear and tear.
Schedule pre-drywall inspection after framing and rough-in work is complete but before drywall installation. This allows inspection of all hidden systems and framing.
It's specifically designed to catch builder defects before your warranty expires at month 12. Issues found at month 11 are still covered by the builder's warranty.
